- Disorders of the Penis
Hypospadias and Epispandias; congenital malformation, associated with failure of testicular descent and malformations of urinary tract. Symptoms; urinary tract obstruction and irregular ejaculation. Phimosis; abnormally tight foreskin; can present as penile pain or acute urinary retention. Peyronie Disease; subcutenous fibrosis of the dorsum of the penis. Abnormal curvature of the shaft or urethral constriction. Balantitis; inflammation of the glans penis caused by infection.
Aetiology unknown. Symptoms include; a sore or lump on the penis, a change of skin colour in the affected area, the thickening of the foreskin or skin of the penis, a rash. Treatment; surgical removal of tumor.
